Tonight at Greenwich High School at 7:15p will be the 1st annual Chicken Joe's - Garden Catering Lacrosse game. 

Garden Catering reopened in the early 1990's and became hugely popular with the creation of the "High School Special," which consists of 1/2lb of seasoned chicken, fries in a foil lined bag with a soda for only $6.

In 2002, the partners of Garden Catering had a falling out. One stayed as Garden Catering, the other launched a competing shop named Chicken Joe's. Chicken Joe's trademarked the "High School Special" name while Garden Catering would have to change theirs to "The Special."

Garden Catering and Chicken Joe's both have several locations in the area.  They also both sponsor men's lacrosse teams in the Sound Shore Lacrosse League, the Garden Catering Pineapples and Chicken Joe's Young Braves.

The game will take place tonight, 7:15pm at Greenwich High School.
