The bullying policy recently implemented in our district does not include the parents, a perfect example of schools stepping in to address scenarios that should be addressed by parents. The ISS mandate is another - forcing schools to provide alternative education is just plain wrong and teaches the wrong lesson, a lesson that parents should be allowed to teach. You can bet, I wouldn't 'reward' a suspended child with a one-on-one education. Where is the lesson in that?"
