Picture Perfect: The 62nd Annual May Fair
A behind-the-scenes look at preparations for the May Fair, and plenty of pictures of happy fairgoers, too.
The 62nd St. Mark's May Fair was held Saturday, and oh! what a full day it was.
Following a — which for years was known as the Strawberry Festival — attracted thousands and raised a small fortune, all of which goes to charity.
Volunteers and paid workers were on the grounds of for days, and so were we. And, like you, we were there on Saturday.

We captured it all: from set-up, to start, to fun, to finish. From pork brisket, hot dogs and corn on the cob to the famous strawberry shortcake, the white elephant sale, used books and pots of bright flowers,rides, cotton candy, games and good prizes.
It was another memorable Saturday at the St. Mark's May Fair.
