I have to admit - I don't get the parking situation. I love the idea of the store - how great toRead Morehav e an organic grocer in town - but, the street is packed with cars either trying to park or trying to figure out the parking situation (exactly where is the garage? - there are no signs to direct you), and the parking garage is limited to vehicles only up to 6'5" which cancels out some SUVs, and, it doesn't have an elevator or way to get into the store other than walking out of the garage and up the ramp then up the sidewalk. After you shop - there you go back down the street and into the garage, but this time with a cart or bags in hand. And if you park on the street, where are you supposed to leave your cart? In front of Oxygen? In the garden? In the Walgreens lot? Makes no sense at all. The store is laid out well and they had a good selection for a small store. I bought cold cuts and it was handed to me in a jumbled mess. Definitely some training needed there. They were giving out pizza samples and it was great. Employees were hovering, but not one said hello or asked if I needed any help. The one time I did ask for help finding something, I was told that person was just handing out samples but didn't work there. Overall: great concept, needs work, parking needs to be defined, and if you're handicapped in any way, think about shopping someplace else.

This doesn't seem like the way New Canaanites would want to welcome a new business to town. Read MorePerhaps a constructive comment to the manager would serve your purpose better?

I agree with Happy. If that person--or persons, as he/she seems to favor the "royalRead Morewe"--i s going to be so critical, said disparaging party should have the guts to use a real name. (And correct spelling and punctuation!) Also, the owners of the store are probably still fixing up the premises so should be given the benefit of a little time to settle in.

I tried to run a quick errand yesterday at walgreens. This would normally only take me 10 minRead Moreround trip. However, yesterday Mrs. Green's was getting a delivery so the northbound side of Park Street was blocked by a tractor-trailer. Parking at Walgreens was now not only over-run by the folks going to Oxygen but to go to Mrs. Green's. To put icing on the cake, the road at Mrs. Green's entrance was blocked by a taxi while someone loaded groceries. Off to a great start. I can't wait for the first caffein and carburetors where they close the street. not a fan!
