So glad that you had a good time. Marcia is an amazing author and person. I am happy that she didRead Moreso much research and put a lot of myths to bed about people who commit these horrific crimes.

Roy, I am sorry you were not elected. You are a great asset to the town. I am sorry "theRead Morenext station to heaven" has been burdened by horrible mismanagement.

We went to see "America, Imagine the World Without Her" Wednesday. It was both inspiringRead Morea nd highly educational, with beautiful cinematography of our national parks, monuments and stunning scenes from "sea to shining sea." From the unique perspective of a legal immigrant and citizen, Dinesh D'Souza, one can learn much as well as become more aware of and grateful for the blessings of being an American.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------We were also educated as to some of the threats to our Nation, and our Liberties, from sources within our boundaries. Those threats include people such as Bill Ayers, the followers of Saul Alinsky (including Obama and Hillary), and the specious and incomplete 'history' of our nation, taught in our public schools, from the textbook by Communist Howard Zinn.

D'Souza's "2016: Obama’s America" is now the world’s #2 top grossingRead Moredocumenta ry of all time, for good reason--after the devastation wreaked upon our Nation by the disastrous current occupant of the WH.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------D'Souza's "America: Imagine the World Without Her" has gross Box Office receipts of over 4 Million $$ in the first 3 DAYS, just through Friday. It should be seen by all Americans, especially those who want truth, and those who care about all of our futures--around the world, not just here in the U.S.!

Outrage missing on State and Federal level as well with both parties at blame. Living within means Read Moreis sadly outdated due to various pressures to maintain status, economy or life style.

Roy, you are all excited. You need to take a walk down Main Street on the new sidewalks. There is Read Moreno snow or ice on them now and you can listen to the birdies or greet the joggers from Darien. Everything is fine. The high school is highly ranked at #14 or #15 so the hard-earned dollars are being spent wisely. Soon New Canaan will be part of a regional organization so it can benchmark itself against the best. Enjoy the 4th and know it's paid for by private citizens.

Roy, you are too excited. Walk on the recently-installed Main Street sidewalks and listen to theRead Morebi rdies or greet joggers from Darien. The high school is doing well and is ranked at #14 or #15 in CT so the tax money is being well spent. Enjoy yourself on the 4th of July at the town extravaganza. It's been funded by private donations, so you won't take a tax hit.

I have only been in town for two years but in my short experience I do not find this type ofRead Morebehavio r common. Most of the time people are welcoming, kind and understanding. Sometimes there are just a few bad apples...

Thats the new "I moved here from the city" coupled with the me myself and I and the restRead Moreo f you be damned attitude. Don't you know how important I am?" or my favorte; "don't you know who my husband is?". Umm nope. So sad to see compassion and understanding gone. Seriously what kind of self centered idiot passes a school bus with its lights flashing and stop sign out? The times they are a changin.

Yup - this is New Canaan. I grew up here also, my dad lived here since he was 13. Its changed aRead MoreLOT, and not for the better. The town has become unbelievably obnoxious. It truly is a bubble of affluence. While it is, I'm sure, a fantastic place to raise children, I can't imagine raising my hypothetical kids here - the attitude of my sh*t don't stink, my Range Rover is newer than yours - it just sickening. As far as the road rage issue, try sitting at the 4 way intersection of Main, Farm Rd, White Oak Shade and the road that Kiwanis is on. Talk about people not knowing how to drive - nobody at that intersection, especially those coming down Farm Rd, knows how a 4-way works. Or they just don't give a damn. The train of cars makes me soooo angry. I am going off on a tangent now...sorry
