6 Things for an Interesting Wednesday in New Canaan

Hey New Canaan, the temperatures are supposed to reach a sunny 72 degrees Wednesday, with an evening that drops to a mostly-clear 51 degrees, according to Weather.com.

On Wednesday, the Board of Selectmen is meeting at 9 a.m. at the New Canaan Police Department Training Room. The Planning & Zoning Commission is meeting Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the New Canaan Nature Center. 

New permanent Police Chief for the town of New Canaan, Leon Krolikowski, will host Lunch or Dinner with the Chief Wednesday, at 12 p.m. and 7 p.m. respectively. Residents are encouraged to bring their own food and any questions they might have for the chief. Both events will take place at the New Canaan Police Station in the Training Classroom. 

Mark Rubenstein visits the New Canaan Library Wednesday to appear as part of the program Author's on Stage at 12 p.m. He will be discussing his latest book, Love Gone Mad. Check out the children's programs going on here

On Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Waveny House at 677 South Avenue, you can attend a free seminar focusing on "Navigating Divorce & Transition" hosted by New Canaan legal counsel, portfolio managers and marriage and family therapists.
