Wednesday Fun Waiting for You In & Around New Canaan

Hey New Canaan, a showery 54 degrees greets us through the day Wednesday, which gives way to a partly cloudy low of 34 degrees in the evening, according to Weather.com

Kathryn Livingston stops by the New Canaan Library at 7 p.m. on Wednesday to discuss her book Lilly: Palm Beach, Tropical Glamour, and the Birth of a Fashion Legend as part of the Authors on Stage series. Also at the library Wednesday are Book Babies! WALKERS at 9:30 a.m., Book Babies! PRE-WALKERS at 11 a.m. and 3-5 yrs. Storytime at 1:30 p.m.

There's a special session of the Police Commission's Personnel Committee Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the New Canaan Police Department to conduct interviews for the position of Captain. The committee will meet in the Training Room.  

In neighboring Stamford, writer and journalist Jason Stearns comes to UConn-Stamford Wednesday to speak at the World Affairs Forum beginning at 5:45 p.m. The title of the presentation is "A Crime Without a Culprit?
