Hey New Canaan, it's another warm one, with temperatures predicted to hit 82 degrees with isolated thunderstorms. The temperature should drop to about 63 with continued thunderstorms through the evening, according to Weather.com.
On Thursday at 7 p.m. at 43 Gower Road, the Young Women's League of New Canaan will hold a New Member Event to provide information for prospective joiners. Those interested are asked to RSVP. More info on that right here.
Diane Roth, owner of L'Armoire boutique in New Canaan, is hosting a trunk show with NY designer Cynthia Rose from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the store's 102 Park Street location. Rose's Fall 2013 collection of limited edition and one-of-a-kind clothing and jewelry will be displayed.
At the New Canaan Library, registration for Fall Storytime for 2-year-olds will take place beginning at 9:30 a.m. and author Lily Koppel takes the stage at 7 p.m. to discuss The Astronaut Wives Club in the library's Adrian Lamb Room.
