Young Women’s League of New Canaan Present: Couture for a Cause: Fashion and Fun!

Fashion for women. Scotch for men. What more could you ask for on a Friday night? The Young Women’s League of New Canaan invites you to Couture for a Cause – an evening of cocktails & lite bites, dancing, a silent auction and a fashion show of this spring's fashion trends. 

Join the YWL for its spring fundraising party which will be held on Friday, May 4th at 7 p.m. at The Loading Dock in Stamford - one of the hippest new venues in town! Grab your date and come to support your friends – fellow YWL and Newcomers members – as they conquer the catwalk in looks featured by New Canaan retailers including Lyn Evans Potpourri Designs, Caren Forbes, Togs, , , , Skirtin’ Around and .

The YWL is thrilled that , , Space NK and Blue Mercury will be assisting with hair and makeup for the models. And new this year – don’t miss male models wearing looks by and !

Not a scotch drinker? Don’t worry - Diageo is providing a wine bar too. Diageo is excited to participate with a wine tasting and a Scotch Bar featuring their Classic Malts and higher end Johnnie Walker. Diageo’s Master of Whiskey – John D. Heffernan – will be in attendance to talk all things scotch and whiskey.
