Alliance Invitational Tennis Tournament and Gala

The Southern CT Alliance for Inner City Tennis and Education is hosting its Annual Tennis Tournament and Gala at Woodway Country Club on September 20-21.   

The event consists of 2 days of competitive Pro-Am play with an impressive field of professional talent.  A Gala cocktail party and dinner on Friday evening celebrates the huge accomplishments of Community Tennis Associations in our area..  This year our keynote speaker is the legendary Tennis Coach, Dick Gould.  Dick was head coach at Stanford University for 38 years and led his teams to a record 17 NCAA Championships.  John McEnroe, Jared Palmer, Roscoe Tanner and Mike and Bob Bryan are among the many athletes coached by Mr. Gould.

All proceeds from the event go to The Southern CT Alliance, a 501 c 3 charity which was formed to leverage the incredible efforts of Community Tennis Associations in Norwalk, Stamford, Bridgeport, Danbury and New Haven.  These programs offer tennis instruction, academic support, life skills, mentoring, and nutritional counseling to thousands of At-Risk children in our area.
