The Roger Sherman Inn announced that it hosting an event-packed recreation of the legendary Titanic’s last dinner to commemorates its centennial on Saturday, April 14th. Throughout the night, guests will relive the grandeur of the Titanic with a lavish champagne welcome, a seven-course dinner that recreates the Titanic's final First Class menu, dancing to the music of the era with a wonderful string quartet and open bar.
The event will raise funds for the American Red Cross, which aided the Titanic survivors and the victims’ families 100 years ago, and today continues to aid victims of disasters. Roger Sherman Inn will donate ten percent of each ticket sold to American Red Cross. Plus, a silent live auction will generate additional funds for the Red Cross.*
Attending the event as a guest of the Inn will be Helen Behr Sanford, who recently published Starboard at Midnight, the memoir of her grandfather, who along with her grandmother and great grandparents survived the Titanic.
It's a once-in-a lifetime event with lots of touches that replicate the Titanic. Period attire is suggested. Seating is limited so call 203-966-4541 or email info@rogershermaninn.com.
