A Call to Arms for All Lyme Patients

My name is Sarah Lamando, and for the past five years I, along with millions of others, have literally been caught in the middle of this horrifying medical war regarding my diagnosis and fight for recovery from Chronic Lyme Disease. This experience has effected me so deeply, and on every level imaginable, that I've decided to do something about it.

There is an Organization called "Inanna House" that intends on building the very first inpatient, residential, holistic, healing facility for those like me all over the country with 24 hour LLMD care, individualized treatment plans that would embrace ALL forms of medicine, and support for caretakers and/or family members.

The fact that they also plan on using Green Energy to run the facility, as well as having an in-house organic garden to feed all residents, and a $20M endowment fund so that people who cannot afford treatment can still receive it is just some of the additional aspects of this visionary center.

I have set up a campaign for them on Indiegogo.com to help them get the "ball rolling," so to speak, so that their visionary center has a fighting chance. The reason I chose this organization is simple: It would provide everything I wish had been available to me during my sickest years, and because of that I will do everything in my power to see it succeed for future generations.

To view the campaign, please click on the link below or visit Indiegogo.com/Inannahouse, and if you like what you see, help it become a success by using the "Share" tools located directly underneath the "pitch video" within the site to send it off to everyone you know. We also have some amazing "perks" for people who are able to contribute to the campaign, so if you are able to, please do so!

I believe that the success of this campaign would give the Lyme Community something it hasn't seen in years...hope.

Thank you so much for your consideration and support.

Sincerely,
Sarah Lamando

Just a short thought to get the word out quickly about anything in your neighborhood.
Share something with your neighbors. Write a new post... What's up? Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something

Where DIDN'T you learn to write?? Jane Himmel May 22, 2013 at 01:27 pm "This has CONVINCED MYRead More GROWING CONVICTION that Patch has moved complete..."

I just called Staples. This is really disturbing to me. If I don't get a satisfactory answer, IRead More will let people know and I will also decide whether to continue shopping there. I do not like to give my money to unethical businesses.

This has convinced my growing conviction that Patch has moved completely away from any pretense ofRead More being a news source and is simply an electronic bulletin board. By abandoning their prior procedure of approving posts before they go up, they are letting anything go on and then taking them down if they're reported. By then, it's too late: the poster has gotten their message across during the time it's in the lineup. I only check in with Patch occasionally now and so many people in town won't read it at all anymore. I think we need to be honest with ourselves about what kind of a public forum this venue is. This doesn't reflect well on Staples if they are using subterfuge and violating Terms of Use on Patch either.

Tom, the tree warden doesn't just "put in trees and take them down" just like that. ThereRead More is a reason behind every tree that has come down or gone up. Whats with this town and trees anyway? It seems like a huge source of controversy...they are TREES.

if they had done it at night at least it wouldn't have been smudged. BUT, i happen to think itsRead More nice, and especially with the flags hanging. we forget we are a small new england town, and small things like the red white and blue stripes remind me that we still are! :)
