A romantic evening of theatre for a late summer night
The Town Players of New Canaan’s Stage II presents
a rehearsed reading of
Terrence McNally’s Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune
Happy to provide a romantic evening of theatre for a late summer night, the Town Players of New Canaan will present a Stage II rehearsed reading of Terrence McNally’s romantic play Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, directed by Tanya Bickley and featuring Marta Backman as Frankie and Tom Petrone as Johnny. Under the influence of the full moon and classical night music they hear on the radio, Frankie, a waitress, and Johnny, a short order cook, risk saying “yes” to love. Performances will take place on Friday and Saturday, August 26 and 27 at 8:00 PM and on Sunday, August 28 at 2:30 PM at the air conditioned Powerhouse Theatre, Waveny Park, New Canaan. Tickets are $5 for non-Town Players members and $4 for Town Players members. To reserve seats, please call (203) 966-7371 or go to tpnc.org.
