The official opening of the New Balance New Canaan /Spednet Fitness Area in Waveny Park took place Saturday, Oct. 15.
For the past three years the committee of Ron & Tina Rosenfeld, Judi Anders, Denise Buckenheimer, PJ Marcella, and Linda Wolfgruber have raised over $70,000 dollars to build a fitness area where people of all abilities can work out together side-by-side.
Special thanks go to Karl Chevrolet, Bank of New Canaan, C & H Automotive, Chicken Joe's, Healthfare, Joe's Pizza, Moore Physical Therapy, New Canaan Community Foundation, New Canaan YMCA, New Canaan Exchange Club, Roger Sherman Inn and Rosie's restaurant.
