St. Luke's Ice Hockey opened the 2012-13 season in style by unveiling the brand new facilities at the SoNo Ice House, and closed their season with a bang in the rink on Friday. The Storm registered a huge 11-2 win over Forman School, giving the program momentum heading into next season.
Friday's game was senior day for the Storm's lone senior, Griffin Miller '13, and he made it count, notching a goal in his final hockey game at St. Luke's. 12 total St. Luke's players registered points against Forman. Cam Chottiner '16 led the way for the Storm with two goals and two assists. Christian Duncan '14 had a big game with two goals and an assist. Justin Kramer '14, Carl Graczyk '14, and Gillis Frechette '17 all had one goal and an assist. Tyler Klein '15, Clay D'Alessandro '15, and Robert Powis '14 each added goals, while Finley Frechette '16 assisted on two goals, and Matt Marchand '14 and Jamie Rich '16 each assisted on one goal.
With almost the entire roster set to return, 2013-14 could be a breakout season for St. Luke's Ice Hockey.
