The New Canaan YMCA Caimans swim team will have two representatives at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials June 25-July 2 in Omaha, NE.
KC Moss, who graduated from Wilton High School this month and will be attending Stanford University in the fall, will be competing in the 100m and 200m Breaststroke event. Costas also has dual citizenship and is ranked in the top ten in Greece in the 200m butterfly.
Caimans Head Coach Jason Paige commented, “I'm very proud of our two swimmers. Just participating at this meet demonstrates a level of commitment and dedication that is rivaled only by a very select few.”
Hadjipateras will compete in the 200m Butterfly on Wednesday, June 27. Moss will compete in the 100m Breaststroke event on Tuesday, June 26 and the 200m Breaststroke event on Friday, June 29, which is scheduled to be broadcast on NBC at 4:30 PM.
