•Strive to hurt our resident commuters by building housing in the lumberyard New Canaan train station parking. Our resident commuters pay 70% of the Town’s taxes
•Spend $700,000 “non-reimbursable” to ship Sandy tree limbs to upstate New York when they could have sold the wood.
•Spend $75,000,000 on the Board of Education but accept a ranking of 15th in the State and 544th in the country. Again no accountability, just spend away.

There is no question that The Gang of Four is arrogant and presumptuous and willing to do everything short of arrestable offenses to win tomorrow. I think they know that there is going to be a LOT of crossover voting as well as "outside the box" voting. By that I mean that allegiance to party orthodoxy is flying out the window. We may have a town full of Rs, but many feel no loyalty to the caucus-endorsed slate, starting with me.
