Secret Meeting 3/28/13

For all of you who do not know there was a meeting held on 3/28/13 to review the draft of the Town audit.

The following people received a draft of the Town audit in connection with that meeting.

Mark Dewaele, Rob Mallozzi, Jennifer Charneski, Joe Meehan, who stepped down as budget director of the BOE Days latter,
Arlene Riverso and Cheryl Stolba.
I'm sure that Mark shared the information with the rest of the TC. Or did He? So that when they voted on April 09 to raise everyone's taxes (12 days after the meeting) they knew about the surplus $14,000,000
It may have been only His
clones on the TC that were informed -- Some of the TC members said it was news to them -- the public did not know that for sure -- is not telling a cover up?
So they could have stopped the tax increase if they wanted -- most peoples
taxes went up $600-$1,200 they could have gone down $600-$1,200 more money in your pocket not the towns bank Account.-- which by the way no one will tell anyone how much money is in the General fund- 2 people have asked one of them a TC member John Engel.
Maybe we should rename the Town --  "New Canaan Bank and Trust"

The above info was the result of a FOI request
so there was a secret meeting is there a secret Plan to give the taxpayers Money back next year. If so I would like to hear about it -- Or do you just keep the extra money Cause you can. In my email to the TC back in March I said cap the budget at last year amount. It would take 10.5 months to spend last year amount and then when you had all the info you could appropriate more. So what is the secret Plan for the $14,000,000 you did not know you had
