Cider Saturday Celebration

 ,   Add to calendar
 New Canaan  See map

New Canaan Nature Center invites you to come
down the hill and join us for a celebration of the abundance of the cider and harvest season!  Learn traditional methods of making apple cider, pick & bake apples over a fire pit, churn butter, roast corn and sample a variety of heirloom apples.

Kids of all ages are invited to create traditional harvest themed crafts, participate in a pumpkin scavenger hunt, “Squirrel Olympics” games and try their skill with the apple sling shot!

A cornucopia of baked goods and local cider will be for sale and corn and corn dogs can be purchased for grilling over the fire.
