Freeze Warning Issued for New Canaan

There definitely will be frost on your Halloween pumpkin come Monday morning.

Even before the sun rises at 6:29 a.m. Monday (hope you remembered to reset your clocks to Eastern Standard Time), temperatures are expected to dip into high 20s. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a freeze warning from 10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3 until 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, for coastal Connecticut.

If you're trying to keep the last blooms on your potted plants, you'll want to bring them indoors.

"The freezing temperatures will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation, bringing an end to the growing season," according to the NWS.

Here is the forecast for the week ... it will warm up a bit, but it certainly won't be beach weather.
