New Canaan's East Avenue was undergoing a milling and paving project Monday between New Norwalk Road and Main Street.
New Canaan's Assistant Director of Public Works Tiger Mann estimated the work should wrap up around Friday, May 17, weather permitting. The work is scheduled to take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Detours are posted, but motorists are urged to find alternate routes.
