The September gathering of at had a record-breaking number of participants and a dazzling array of automobiles and motorcycles.
From the simple to the sublime, vintage to modern, one after another strutted their stuff down the Pine Street promenade. At one point, emcee Peter Bush announced, "We are in car heaven," and he wasn't kidding.
A few of the many favorites were the , the 1955 300SL Gullwing and the 1938 BMW 328 Roadster. But, truthfully, every participant was a star, with each car or motorcycle more impeccably maintained than the next. There really was something for everyone.
Joe Rossi, owner of a gleaming 1953 Jaguar XK 120, had nothing but praise for the gathering and its loyal group of car lovers.
"It's a wholesome and eclectic mix of people, blue collar, white collar; no one has an agenda. It's like a cocktail party with coffee," he said.
