Construction workers are digging up Oenoke Lane for some water main work in advance of new paving that will follow on the road, DPW officials say.
Tiger Mann, assistant director of New Canaan DPW, said the road works will continue through this week.
Oenoke Lane is a cut-through for northbound motorists seeking to get from Weed Street to lower Oenoke Ridge Road without hitting downtown traffic.
