I pulled over at the New Canaan Post Office just now, to speak to the guy there with the large poster depicting President Barack Obama with a Hitler mustache.
Meet Matt Guice of Ridgefield Park, NJ, part of the Larouche Political Action Committee, a registered political action group.
I asked Guice to give me one sentence on what the group is about and he said: "We need to be restoring Glass-Steagall and removing Obama in order to save the nation."
Wikipedia tells me Glass-Steagall is the common name given to a 1933 bill, parts of which "limited commercial bank securities activities and affiliations between commercial banks and securities firms" and were repealed in 1999 (http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glass–Steagall_Act).
One woman walked past Guice and his set-up and Guice asked if she'd like to help "get rid of Obama."
The woman declined to participate, saying she doesn't want to get involved but that she thinks "he [Obama] stinks" and she took a flier for her brother.
