Tag Sales, August 17-19

A listing of all tag sales this weekend in your local area.

Below you'll find tag sale information for your town. Feel free in the comments section below this article to add to the list by telling us:

  • Where (street address and town)
  • When (time and days)
  • Whatever else (Is it an estate sale? Is it at your house? Got anything special? A fundraiser for a local nonprofit organization?)

We'll add more rows to the table as we get more information from you to help our readers plan their outings. (Nobody needs to be spending more money on gas these days!)

These garage sales are trashy and embarrassing for the town. They should not be permitted in New Canaan, along with all the posters for this and that including "Estate Sales."

Madame MomsforMoms, why not be gracious about these little improprieties? They keep the peasants occupied and out of expensive trouble with the authorities. The sales themselves allow those favored with advantage to distribute some of their outmoded belongings to those who wish they could afford those material items the favored classes naturally assume as their prerogative. If the people who sell the disposables want to donate the receipts to the Town for some project or other for beautification and improved culture for the masses, so much the better. Improved elegance will make life much more pleasant for even those who cannot normally afford luxuries, assuming they are capable of appreciating the finer things. Thank you for offering your social leadership. It is rare in today’s environment.
