30th Annual New Canaan Family Fourth

The 30th annual New Canaan Family Fourth promise to be fun for the whole family with music, childrens' games, and, of course, spectacular fireworks.

The celebration is set for Sunday, July 4, at Waveny Park (raindate July 5). The park opens for the festivities at 5 p.m. The fireworks show is expected to start around 9:15.

The entertainment includes children's inflatable bouncers (open from 5:30-8:30 p.m.), magician The Great Siroco, the Town Band. Glow necklaces will be on sale, along with soda and ice cream to keep attendees cool.

The Family Fourth Celebration is made possible by the sale of passes and additional donations. You must purchase your pass
in advance; passes will not be available at the gate. Click here for more information about where to get a pass.

All cars must enter Waveny Park through the main gate on South Avenue. Entry passes must be displayed on your windshield.
Lapham Road will be closed to all traffic. Pedestrians must enter Waveny Park from the high school area. Parking is not permitted on roads adjacent to Waveny Park.
