Whether you are just starting out as an aspiring artist or looking to pick up those paint brushes that you haven’t touched in years, or maybe you are an experienced artist seeking new creative challenges, the Silvermine School of Art in New Canaan has a course for you.   The School Open House is a great opportunity to meet faculty members, see demonstrations and check out the more than 100 courses that will be offered during the fall semester.  The term, beginning on September 19th offers classes for all ages, from 2 to 102.  In addition to the 12 week courses available, there are a variety of one and two day workshops that can fit the busiest of schedules providing excellent options with which to try something new and different.
