Norb Vonnegut will talk about his new novel, “The Gods of Greenwich,” a recession-era nail-biter about a super-powered hedge fund in Greenwich. Event co-sponsor Elm Street Books will sell copies, which will be available for signing afterward.
Vonnegut, a distant cousin of the late Kurt, possesses the perfect resume for writing thrillers set in the rapacious financial world. In 2009, he turned his experiences as a personal wealth advisor at firms like Morgan Stanley and PaineWebber into the highly acclaimed novel, “Top Producer,” a story that took readers inside investment banks to reveal how Wall Street operates.
Admission is free, but reservations are recommended – call 203-594-5040 or email clahey@newcanaanlibrary.org. To preorder a book, call Elm Street Books at 203-966-4545.
