The Mikey Czech Foundation is hosting the first annual “Miles for Mikey” fun day and walk-a-thon on Sept. 20, 2009. The event will include family activities including a DJ, Mikey Dash, face painters, a balloon artist, and performances by Chellamar the Breakdancer.
The event will benefit the foundation which is dedicated to pediatric brain tumor research.
Registration begins at New Canaan High School at 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 20. The start time is 9:00 a.m. In case of rain, the event will be postponed until Sept. 27.
