Outback's First Annual Geranium Boutique

Something’s “blooming” at the New Canaan Outback Teen Center—it’s the 1st Annual Red Geranium Boutique! The Outback Teen Center will be hosting its first annual Red Geranium Boutique on Thursday June 2nd, 2011 from 9 to 4pm and 6 to 9pm. The idea of a shopping extravaganza was born from the desire to promote the Outback while providing a retail opportunity for vendors to sell their wares. The boutique will host 18 unique vendors from near and far that are committed to donating 15% of all proceeds to benefit the Center. The Outback promises to have a great selection of products from gifts for the home to splurging on your loved ones and yourself. There will be no entrance fee. Additionally, morning and lunch fare will be offered. Come and “shop till you drop” for a great cause—the Outback Teen Center. Our co-chairs, Carol Howe, Tonina Abplanalp and Kim Hoag have been working tirelessly on this unique fundraiser and the Outback is very enthusiastic in launching this exciting boutique shopping extravaganza. We hope this will be the beginning of an annual tradition, said Co- President Connie Piotroski. The Outback is dedicated to providing a positive and enriching environment in New Canaan where teens are able to relax, socialize, participate in self-directed activities, and have the opportunity to contribute to the community.
