Preschool Story Hour & More at the Historical Society

This engaging program for three and four-year-old children will meet in the New Canaan Historical Society's historic buildings to hear a story, engage in an arts-and-crafts project, play colonial games like hoops and "hide the thimble" and learn a little about how children lived in early New Canaan.  In some of the past sessions children met in the Rock School and learned about Johnny Appleseed, made applesauce from scratch, crafted horn books and learned what school was like in a one-room schoolhouse.
