The Holiday Stroll Gingerbread House Tour Tradition Continues!

M Milestones once again welcomes local children and local children's organizations to pick-up their free Gingerbread House kits starting on November 22nd through the 27th. This year seventy-five gingerbread house kits will be available from M Milestones on a first-come, first-served basis, one per family or organization.  Once assembled and decorated the houses will be returned to M Milestones from November 29th - December 1st, and they will be on display at local stores for all to enjoy during the Holiday Stroll on December 3rd and 4th.

"People of all ages enjoy the Gingerbread House Tour," observed Dan Mulhern, owner of M Milestones. M Milestones is sponsoring this tradition for the third consecutive year.  Any decorated houses that are not picked up before December 10th will be donated to local not-for-profit organizations.  

The New Canaan Holiday Stroll is an opportunity for the retail community to kick off the holiday season with the arrival of Santa Claus and a chance to celebrate the town in which we all live, work and shop.  Since the original Holiday Stroll event in 2003, The Chamber has included the Gingerbread House Tour, and the lighting of the tree lights along Elm, Main and Forest Streets.

Photos with Santa Claus and the sale of holiday trinkets are used as a fundraiser coordinated with the Young Women's League of New Canaan.    

Please join the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce, the Holiday Stroll Committee and M Milestones to participate in this year's Holiday Stroll Event.  This year's Stroll will prove to be more exciting, enjoyable and fun! The stroll will start at 6:00 PM on December 3rd with musical entertainment and the arrival of Santa Claus on Old Faithful Antique Fire Engine at 6:30 PM.
