Rose and George Nammack, owners of Rosie, announced the opening of Visions of Hope for Japan, an exhibit of new and original artworks by local artists. Rose and George are hosting an art opening on Friday, May 13th that is open to the public and inviting everyone to join them “for an evening of exceptional art, great food, drinks and community.” The proceeds from the sale of these works is being donated to the Happy Hearts Fund which uses 100% of their donations to aid children displaced by natural disasters. The funds collected will be targeted to relief work in Miyage Prefecture, hardest hit by the devastating earthquake and tsunami. Guests may purchase art, make donations or simply come to show support for the artists and a good cause. Visions of Hope for Japan will be on display at Rosie beginning Tuesday, May 10th until a date tbd in July.
