On Sunday, October 30, guitarist Zoë Jobe will perform at 2:30 pm in Morrill Hall, St. Mark's Church. This free, open to the public concert is sponsored by the St. Frances Fellowship and Staying Put in New Canaan.
Zoë, a senior at Fox Lane High School in Bedford, NY, began studying piano at age 8. By the time she was a teenager, she broke away from classical music and began composing her own music on guitar and piano. Zoë's influence and style ranges between The Beatles to Train and everything in-between. Her music is packed with emotion and lyrical sophistication. She has perfomred at The Towne Crier in Pawling, NY, as well as various other local venues. Her first album is due out in the fall.
