14 Cars Entered Overnight in New Canaan

New Canaan police said Monday that 14 vehicles were entered overnight Sunday into Monday, though as of Monday morning, only a credit card appeared to have been taken.

Sgt. Carol Ogrinc said the 14 cars entered were all left unlocked and were parked in the area of Old Stamford Road, Brickenhoff Avenue and South Avenue.

Ogrinc reminded residents to always lock their vehicles, even if they're parked in a driveway. She also reminded residents never to leave valuables in vehicles.
