“Every Picture Tells a Tale”, a new photojournalism exhibit by New Canaan High School Senior and Girl Scout Lauren Jansen, who artfully tells the inspirational stories of young, local cancer survivors who shared their challenging and hopeful experiences with her. Jansen has been an active volunteer in the New Canaan community and a Girl Scout for the past 12 years. This exhibition is part of Jansen’s efforts to earn the Girl Scout’s highest national award, the Gold Award. “Every Picture Tells a Tale” is free and all are welcome.  Refreshments will be served. The exhibit will continue in the Teen Section of the library for the following two weeks.
