Construction crews are swarming the interior and exterior at 67 Elm St. as the early-summer target date for Vineyard Vines approaches. The planned opening right in the heart of New Canaan's business district -- called "the magic circle" among business owners -- has excited many while concerning some advocates for independently owned apparel shops that carry the popular Vineyard Vines line.
