The market wil dictate whether it's worth a 1/2 block drive to save 20 bucks on a tankful of gas!! Shud not take long...

Mobil is a Top Tier gas and Gulf is not. Check the Website

No surprise. Remember how he ripped off his fellow neighbors in town by charging for air all these past years by counting on the fact that most of us weren't aware of the state law that prohibits just that. Only after he was called out on that did he post a sign to ask for tokens. And then he " suggested" that the heads up was wrong and must have refered to another station. WRONG, he was the only one who charged for air in town and I've been here 39 years! Who knows what else he's gouging us on. I just don't patronize the place for anything.

No one who lives in this town should be surprised by this.

Stop knocking my pal Art. Nobody in town has tried to help people out the way Art has and does We are lucky to have him all these years w/us. As for the long line and gas shortage. Umm. Not sure what to say. Remind me of 1970's. If we could get ALL the roads clear and this ****power back on things might work out better. Very frustrating though. I wonder if that DUMB rule of 3 people in a car to NY still applies???

Bull crap Glen! As Mr. Bruhn indicated above, Art Keane has absolutely no shame! He was offering a Champion 6800 Watt Generator for $1499. Cabella's sells the very same generator for..........................................................$799.
maria faucher November 03, 2012 at 11:55 PM
The generators are an outside contractor at Mobil. Not art kean's
Baffled Resident November 04, 2012 at 12:47 AM
Why would your father permit someone to use his station to hawk generators @90% over true retail Maria? I have nothing against you Maria, i think you're a sweetheart, but i'm having difficulty with understanding your father's reasoning on this one. I'm not sure if your dad is aware of it, but the AG's office has asked that people report "gouging". 90% over true retail would certainly qualify as egregious.
Ed Murrow November 04, 2012 at 03:02 AM
There's nothing obvious to the consumers that the generators are being sold from an outside contractor. So, as far as we re concerned, HE is gouging consumers to the tune of $2,000 for a $999 generator. To make matters worse he's charging $30 for $20 5 gallon gas containers. And, he's at least 50 cents more per gallon. The AG's office has been made aware.

A customer asked to sell them etc so we allowed. If the person wants to pay the price they can and if not they can go somewhere else. All I know is we have out hands full selling the gas and keeping store stocked etc. according to customers everyone that had generators were charging more even people on Facebook

Go to weed dureya u can pay 45 per tank ;). It's my price year around. Haven't changed my prices. Anyone can go anywhere they want. Your not mandated to come to my store ;). Have a good day

Allowing a vendor/customer on your property to sell to town residents at double the price taints your family business.
maria faucher November 05, 2012 at 03:35 AM
If someone chooses to buy it then they buy it. Isn't mine or your business to worry about it. It's the person who wants to buy it
Greenhill November 05, 2012 at 02:18 PM
I am certain many people will be sure to follow your advice and not shop at your store any longer. I will be happy to spread your advice and already have. You too have a great day.
