We heard that Goldenberry -- coming soon to New Canaan (http://newcanaan.patch.com/groups/business-news/p/dariens-goldenberry-moving-to-new-canaan) -- had a great royal baby-related display at Tablescapes, a terrific fundraiser from the New Canaan Beautification League (http://newcanaan.patch.com/blogs/new-canaan-beautification-leagues-blog).
Here's some info from one of the shop's owners, Deb Hecht:
"With our new store opening, we look forward to bringing a unique shopping experience to New Canaan. Goldenberry's selection includes a wide variety of personal items like jewelry & scarves, home-related merchandise such as candles, hostess gifts, Wedgwood Nantucket Basket, and Spode, and fabulous Irish & British Isles foods including sausages (frozen), preserves, teas, biscuits (cookies), real Cadbury's chocolates, and much more -- even authentic imported fish & chips!
"Although Goldenberry will be new to New Canaan, we have been in Fairfield County since 1990.
"The new shop will open sometime in June, but in the meantime, we are having a moving sale in our Darien store."
