"Clean Start" Chef to Demo at Deane

Novice cooks and seasoned chefs alike are invited to taste how delicious healthy, sustainable food can be when Terry Walters demonstrates recipes from her latest cookbook, “Clean Start,” as part of the third annual At Home Design District New Canaan.

Event co-sponsor Elm Street Books will be on hand to sell the cookbook, and a percentage of the sales will go to The New Canaan Community Foundation.

Walters' first book, the award-winning “Clean Food,” caused a sensation and fueled a nationwide movement about nourishment and clean food that's been embraced all the way to the White House. Her philosophy: eat minimally processed foods for maximum nutrition.
