New Spot Makes Irresistibles a Bit Harder to Resist

Since moving the store from Elm Street to Main in downtown New Canaan at the end of January, Irresistables employees say they've seen more foot traffic and have more space to take advantage of it.

It's been about six weeks since Irresistibles, a women's clothing store downtown, left its 104 Main St. location to move to 86 Main St., and store employees say the change has been a good one.

"We're still getting, 'Oh, we didn't know you moved,' but we're also getting more foot traffic," said Nicole Amato, assistant manager of the store.

Store clerk Carol Collins added, "There's lots of traffic because of he restaurants" nearby, which include Tequila Mockingbird next door and Thali Restaurant across the street. The new location is two doors down from Island Outfitters on Main Street.
