Coastal Orthopaedics will be opening their fourth patient office in the heart of New Canaan this month which has been specifically designed for orthopedic care. The new office will be a resource for area patients requiring urgent management of musculoskeletal injuries as well for consultation regarding complex chronic conditions.
"We will now be able to provide superior, personal service and greater accessibility to Northern Fairfield County with a commitment to quality care," says Dr. Paul A. Markey, of New Canaan. "Our diverse range of clinical expertise will be available to patients who have the most common illnesses to ultra-specialized conditions. Our affiliation with Norwalk Hospital’s brand new comprehensive Joint Replacement Center keeps us on the cutting edge of the most technologically advanced solutions for orthopedics excellence."
This new facility will offer prompt medical attention and easy access with onsite parking. It is conveniently located downtown next to Norwalk Hospital’s Immediate Care Facility. It will be located at 28-30 East Avenue at the corner of Cherry Street. Hours of operation will be Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Coastal Orthopaedics is one of the largest and oldest orthopedic practices in Fairfield County. Their 12 physicians are board certified with fellowship training at medical schools and hospitals across the country. In addition to musculoskeletal services, Coastal Orthopaedics offers subspecialty treatment for sports injuries, spinal surgery, hand and upper extremities, pediatric care, as well as foot, ankle, hip, and knee arthritis.
