Readers' Choice: Mother's Day Brunch

What's your favorite spot in New Canaan to bring mom for brunch on Mother's Day?

, from one year ago ranks among my personal favorites, and it still gives me chills.

One week from Sunday marks Mother’s Day (May 13), when lots of little kids will do what I remember doing 30 years ago and bring their moms breakfasts in bed. Many others take mom out for brunch and spend the day together as a family.

Reservation bookings being what they are, for this week’s Readers’ Choice contest, we’re asking for your favorite spot to go for that special brunch.

Casting a vote in our poll below is fine—leaving a review in our directory for why you love your go-to brunch spot, whether it’s a particular dish, memory or something else, is far more lasting.

If you’re a restaurant owner—or owner of any business—, you can push out notifications to local customers, update information found in the listing and feature new photos for your neighbors to find.

Contest rules are attached as a PDF. If we need to update this list, just say so in the comments. Good luck, everyone:

Gates has a good brunch. Eggs are always cooked nice, easily the best Bloody Mary's in town. And you can not beat the croissants with strawberry butter. I will be there on Mother's Day this year.

I'll be home slave cooking for my Mother and everyone. If I did not have to do it all the time anyhow I would not mind. So, it is a typical slave labor day for me. Ahh me..when does it all end. Actually, I avoid restaurants on Mother Day. Much too crowded.
