I find it extremely difficult to believe that New Canaan Cleaners was chosen for best dry cleaners. They ruined three custom shirts of my husbands and shrunk a numerous amount of his sweater, of course not able to get the sweaters back to normal size. They shrunk his sweaters so badly that not even my son could wear them! This is one of the worst dry cleaners ever, and the never offered to reimburse me.

I totally agree sun lover. I have lived in New Canaan since the late 80's and NC Cleaners ruined my husband's custom shirts as well, also broken buttons, which indicates too hot an iron and ironing one sleeve and forgetting the other one! Finally we found Frances Cleaners in Ridgefield- they have been offering home pick up and delivery, way before others just started offering that service. They do an amazing job and quality garments last longer, when they are treated properly.

I actually like the Chinese one in Darien the best. Chinese Laundry is the best !! Whatever happened to the one by the PO. The old lady who owned it sold out I think. I use to see her in Lous Kitchen eating her grapefruit (LOL) She was comical (in a nice sort of way I mean. Nice old lady though, She must be REAL old now) :) GLEN
