A downtown women’s fashion shop is closing its doors after seven years.
The owners of True Blue at 137 Elm St., Taylor Lupica and Brenda Connelly, are retiring from the business, said Lisa Nowell, a town resident and sales associate there.
Once located down Elm Street a bit further and before that on the last, long block of South Avenue, the store is having a closing sale on its “conservative yet trendy” apparel, Nowell said.
“People are sad,” she said. “This is one of those stores that doesn’t just cater to a younger crowd.”
