David Canet joins Bankwell as Vice President of Commercial & Industrial Lending


February 25, 2014 - David Canet has joined Bankwell as VP, Commercial & Industrial Lending, it was announced by President Heidi S. DeWyngaert. In his new role, he is charged with expanding Bankwell’s C&I loan portfolio in Fairfield and the surrounding counties in Connecticut and New York.  David is based at Bankwell’s Bedford Street offices in Stamford, CT.

Notes DeWyngaert, “We are very pleased to add David to our commercial lending team," stated Johnson.  "His leadership, experience and knowledge of the local markets will be a great asset to our clients and our team."

A resident of Stamford, CT, David earned his MBA in 1993 from the Columbia Business School in New York, N.Y., and his undergraduate degree in 1989 from Tufts University in Medford, Mass.  He is a member of the CT Small Business Advisory Board.
