Tay-Bandz announces Tunes 4 Tay: An A Cappella Fundraiser to give pediatric cancer a voice!.

New York, NY – tay-bandz, a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding research for pediatric cancer, announces Tunes 4 Tay: An A Cappella Fundraiser. Tunes 4 Tay is a performance fundraiser created just for a cappella groups to support the fight against pediatric cancer by raising funds and promoting awareness. We are reaching a national audience as performances are planned at Universities and Colleges across the nation.

Tunes 4 Tay originated at Vassar College when the a cappella group, The Night Owls, decided to forgo the usual Relay for Tay, another tay-bandz fundraising event, and use their voices to raise awareness and funding for pediatric cancer research. tay-bandz founder Taylor Matthews had a great love for music. When Sue Matthews, President of tay-bandz and Taylor’s mom, saw the energy and passion of The Night Owls, she began to reach out to other a cappella groups. What resulted was a wave of excitement! Upcoming Tunes 4 Tay participants include Amherst College, Case Western Reserve, CUNY Baruch, Fordham University, University of Pennsylvania, St. Joseph’s University, Susquehanna University, Trinity College, and Washington University.

Children suffering from pediatric cancer need your voice! Pediatric cancer is devastatingly underfunded by the government. Children are not able to vote. They cannot march on the lawn of the White House. They do not write checks to campaigns. They do not work for large corporations. They are not able to pressure our leaders to support their cause.
