As winter approaches many of us face 6 months of relative inactivity. As it gets cold outside and the days get shorter, those of us who struggle to exercise anyway find it even harder. And then you add in the winter festivities (overeating etc) and winter illnesses and it’s not looking good for keeping fit. This is why I have set up a new Facebook Community to help to people like me get fit and stay fit.

The idea of the Community is to share ideas, motivation and support with other like-minded people.

Exercise is good for your brain!
Your brain controls almost every function in your body (except a few local circuits in the guts!). If your brain works better, your body works better! According to research from the Amen Clinics exercise increases blood flow to the brain, encourages growth of new brain cells, enhances cognitive ability, improve function of co-ordination center and makes you more productive. So it makes you more clever, more productive and less clumsy! Well worth 30 minutes 3 times a week!
