Food Revolution Day in 2012 consisted of over 1000 events, (460 local food events and 541 dinner parties) took place in 664 cities spanning 62 countries worldwide. Social media coverage was enormous with a twitter reach of over 729,993,200 users.  Food Revolution Day aims to raise awareness about the importance of good food and better food education for everyone by focusing on three simple actions – cook it, share it, live it!
