Soccer: New Canaan Boys U14 Reds smash Trumble United’s winning streak

New Canaan Boys U14 Reds smash Trumble United’s winning streak

New Canaan hammered Trumble United 4 – 0 in a dazzling display of defence, passing and finishing. New Canaan’s victory was built on solid defence with TJ Richardson making several crucial saves during the match. Dylan Healey, Ben Conley, Sean Manzella and Max Koschnitzke nullified the speedy Trumble attackers. In midfield, Kent Williams and Quinn Murphy battled hard and played some excellent passes. Kent Williams set up Sam Rhodes’ second goal of the game with a great through ball which was clinically finished by Rhodes. Stephen Curiale scored from a tight angle having combined brilliantly with Henry Baer and on the final whistle Nathaniel Bozzella completed another solid display with a fine header from a corner. A fantastic team effort!
